I have competed successfully through Intermediate 1 on self-trained horses. Having experience with a multitude of breeds and types from Friesians, Arabians, PREs, Quarter horses, warmbloods and OTTBs, I have a thorough ground work program including long-lining that works to instill early understanding of aids that translates well to under saddle work as well as work in hand to develop piaffe. I specialize in advancing horses systematically within a team approach in order to support the horse through its development and achieve the best possible results.
Full training is 4-5 sessions per week beginning with an initial assessment to establish what the program proportions will consist of in terms of training rides vs client lessons. Monthly reassessments occur to modify the program as the needs of the horse/rider change.
Part -time training is also available, tailored to each horse/riders specific goals and needs.
Haul in lessons and training getaways are also possible. Skyview Farm has water and electric RV/camper hook ups to allow for overnight or short-term training packages.
Clients are also invited to participate in regular clinics with top professionals as well as monthly AZD sponsored continuing education to further delve into specific topics surrounding the sport of dressage.
